Sophisticated Shading...
We have been exploring how using the flatter edge of our pencil helps to create
an interesting effect! Keep practising at home.

Australia's First Game...
This evening Australia will be playing their first game of the Rugby World Cup
2015. Juniper's challenge is to find out what the result is and any
interesting information from the game (eg. Who was Australia playing? Who was
Man of the Match? etc.).
Good luck Australia!

Long Division Battles...
At the beginning of the week we were well and truly at the bottom of the Learning Pit with our Long Division. Through resilience and not giving up we are now more confident with using our steps to success (Does McDonald's Sell Burgers) and answering division sums. Today some of us were working together to help each other succeed. Good work Juniper!

Rugby World Cup 2015
The most exciting time of the year (for some) has finally arrived! The Rugby World Cup 2015 kicked off on Friday night with England beating Fiji in a nail biting match.
There are plenty more matches to come and this year SPS is getting involved and backing some of the teams. Juniper class will be supporting Australia and Apple class will be supporting Tonga.
Although as a class we will be following the successes (or perhaps mishaps) of our teams, we would like you at home to be going beyond this and track how either Australia or Tonga are getting on.
Along with recent news, it would be great if you could look back and research your chosen team. What information can you find out about Australia or Tonga? Have either team come close to winning the Rugby World Cup before? Anything you discover, bring into school and we will share this with the class.
We wish all the teams involved in the tournament the best of luck!
