Rebecca Westcott visit

We were very lucky to have a flying visit from local author and School Reading Ambassador Rebecca Westcott today - she shared a book to offer some inspiration for our writing over the coming weeks....

Apple Class Circulation Homework

I was really proud of all the amazing homework that came into school today for the children's homework projects across Year 6. I know Miss Mullett has already posted some pictures from Juniper so here are Apple's projects. We had lots of different ways of presenting the homework from power points to drawings, paintings and even cake! I must say Bradley - it also tasted amazing.

Y6 Apple create their SPAG theme park

The children came up with things like Modal Mazes, Preposition Playpens, Hook a Conjunction and lots more to help them with their SPAG. Learning through fun!

Hearty Science Home Learning

Look at the fantastic home learning produced by the children in Juniper class. Both Mr Preston and Miss Mullett are tremendously impressed by the efforts shown from the children. Well done! We cannot wait to introduce our next home learning topic. We'll keep you posted.

Exeter University Trip -

4  children from Year 6 had the oportuinity to go to Exeter University with Mr Wahab and do some amazing science including making ice cream with liquid nitrogen (-200* C!) and various light experiments. Mr Wahab's son had made the trip possible so thanks Mr Wahab Junior!
