Which articles from the UN Rights of the Child can we use in our class charter.....
Article 2 = We have all of these rights – some will help us become better learners and are specific to school. With these rights come responsibilities.

Article 2 = We have all of these rights – some will help us become better learners and are specific to school. With these rights come responsibilities.
Article 12 and Article 13 = We can say what we
think in lessons but the responsibility is that we do not say anything that
will hurt or offend others. Our views must be taken seriously. Our
contributions to lessons must be sensible.
Article 14 = We have the right to practice and
believe the religion that we want to but we have the responsibility not to
pressure others into our way of thinking. We must also not discriminate people
of other religions.
Article 16 = We have the right to privacy and if
we want to speak to an adult we can in private. The responsibility that comes
with this is that we must not discuss things about other people which they
consider private.
Article 23 = Children with disability have the
right to the same experiences as any child. We have the responsibility to
ensure everyone in our class is treated fairly and the same.
Article 28 = We have the right to an education but
we are responsible for being the best we can be and ensuring we are a hob nob
and not a one dip.
Article 29 = We have the right at school to
develop our talents but we have the responsibility not to show off to our
friends about them but to use them in a way to help and teach others our
skills.
Article 30 = We all have the right to play but we
have the responsibility to do this nicely, set a good example, follow school
rules and get on with everybody.
