First day at Carey Camp!


Wow, haven't we been lucky with the weather? Ha! Wet...wet...wet but no spirits dampened.

We arrived at around 10.30am and had a tour of the campsite. After setting up our tents and getting our sleeping bags ready for climbing into later, we enjoyed our lunch. Once our bellies were full, we headed off to our first activities: Apple - River visit and Juniper - archery, problem solving, climbing wall and low ropes. 

After our afternoon we settled back in our tents for a while before dinner time. Sausage, chips and beans followed by chocolate cake....yum! 

Once all our things had been washed and dried up, we headed over to the barn for a quiz.
