We have been encouraging Year 6 to continue learning their times tables at home. Times tables help in most, if not all, of our maths lessons, so it is very important that children learn them.
There are plenty of apps available (through the i store or Google Play) which can make learning the times tables enjoyable. One particularly good app is 'Squeebles Times Tables'. Alternatively, '10 Minutes a Day Times Tables' is free from the app store and is an interactive resource designed to help children learn their times tables. Why not give one of these a go?
There are also songs on YouTube that are very catchy and make the learning fun.
Below is a times tables grid. Feel free to print one off and use it to encourage your children to remember them. Why not test your children at home to see which tables need more practice?
